      <title>“Last Dance of Mata Hari”
A full length modern dane theatre production based on the life of Mata Hari and told through the eyes of her daughter. This production uses a different dancer to portray Mata Hari throughout each stage of her life, and takes the position that Mata Hari was a vicitim of the times. There are original video projections created by William Towers used throughout the performance. This pieces was directed by Susan Collard and choreographed by Susan Collard and ACDT company members. It premiered at Diana Wortham Theater in Asheville, NC November 2008.</title>

A dance piece based on the life and art of the famous Mexican female artist Frida Kahlo, who was married to Diego Rivera, the most celebrated muralist of his era.  It is a multi-disciplinary event that incorporates dance and theatre.  The ballet is comprised of seven acts, which are inspired by different facets of Frida’s life; her paintings, Diego’s paintings, photographs, and her diaries. The show is performed to the music of Dead Can Dance, Lila Downs, and traditional Mexican music.</title>
